Most people describe the feeling as similar to a small elastic band snapping lightly against the skin. For many clients it is comparable to the sensation experienced when the tattoo was originally applied.

Treatment settings can be adjusted to maintain an effective session while keeping the experience as comfortable as possible.

Laser tattoo removal sessions are typically spaced at least six weeks apart.

This time allows the skin to recover fully and gives the body the opportunity to gradually remove the fragmented ink particles created during the previous treatment.

It is important to avoid sunbeds and excessive sun exposure for around 30 days before your appointment.

Keeping the skin protected before treatment helps reduce irritation and allows the laser to work under the safest possible conditions.

Shortly after treatment the skin may appear pale or slightly frosted, and small pinpoint spots of bleeding can sometimes occur. This is a normal response and usually settles quickly.

After your session we recommend:

• applying 100% Aloe Vera gel to the treated area for several days

• using SPF 30+ protection when outdoors for approximately four weeks

• avoiding excessive sun or UV exposure during the healing period
