3D-HIFU Fat Removal or Body Sculpting works by delivering High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound into the fat cells at precise depths of 8mm and 1.3cm.

Heat is generated as the focused energy encounters resistance when it passes through the cells. The heat does not affect the skin. However, the fat cells are exposed to up to 65 degrees centigrade temperatures during treatment. This causes the fat cells to die rapidly, which is called necrosis.

Rebecca, our Aesthetics technician, will map out a grid pattern on the treatment area and use the HIFU handpiece to deliver the energy into the required location at a precise depth for maximum effects.

Once the cells have died, they are processed out of the body via the lymphatic system as usual. Clients can expect between 2-4cm reduction in the treatment area, as we need to wait for the body to remove the fat cells. This can take between 8-and 16 weeks.

HIFU Body is an excellent choice for people looking to remove very stubborn harder pockets of fat. HIFU Body works exceptionally well on the lower abdomen and is very popular amongst clients who diet, and exercise regularly but still can’t lose fat around the stomach area.

We change our machine heads/transducers and cartridges in line with manufacturer guidelines, ensuring the best results for every client.

But on the other hand, 3D Lipo Body Treatments kill and eliminate fat cells. Once the fat cells are gone, the body does not have the same fat storage space as it once did.

So, the answer is yes, they will, as they have a completely different effect on the body.

All 3D Lipo Body Treatments are designed to permanently eliminate fat cells in the treated area, which means that the body will not be able to store fat in that area.

However, if a prolonged daily surplus calorie intake persists, the body will store the excess fat in other fat cells.

So, we recommend adopting a balanced approach to living a healthier lifestyle to maintain your results.

• 3D-HIFU Fat Removal: Sessions are 1 off treatments, but the same area can be treated multiple times on separate occasions. However, to maximise the effects of the treatments and ensure we are looking after your body, a period of 16 weeks must separate each session done on the same area.

As with anything worth doing, there is an investment of time required on your part. However, the time required is significantly less than with surgery.

•  Fat Freezing: Sessions typically take 30-60 minutes per area. Multiple areas would mean a more extended session.
•  HIFU Body Sessions typically take 1.5-2 hours.
•  Cavitation Inch Loss: When combined with 3D Radio Frequency Fat Melting and 3D Shockwave, sessions can be up to 2 hours each, depending upon the areas being treated.

We will do our best to offer you an appointment or schedule that fits your lifestyle. We offer weekend and evening appointments, if required, across 2 clinic locations.

Please note that we are extremely busy and cannot hold appointment times unless confirmed with a deposit.

However, redness and tingling sensations can present at the treatment site. This is due to the cooling and heating effects of the treatments.

Furthermore, the treatments are not painful. We even have clients who have fallen asleep during sessions.

It is normal to see redness in the treatment area, which will subside.
